Life Update!

Hello all!

It has been a very long time since I last posted on here and a bit ironic how my last post was about being back online and I haven't posted anything here since 2015!! I know its MAD! I viewed this blog the other day looking for some old photos I posted and remembered how much fun I had doing it and how much I missed it. So I thought that I would make a new post and give you all a life update as a lot as changed since 2015!!

I am now 21 years old and in my third and final year at University of Lincoln doing Media Production here is my face:

I know I haven't really changed that much!!

I still have my youtube channel I haven't really posted on there since November due to all the uni work I have had to do including shooting my film. Which has taken a lot of planning and traveling. Throughout September - December I was busy working with my team writing a script and planning the entire shoots which took place early January and march.

While shooting with the amazing Volsung Vikings they became like a second family to me and I ended up joining the group myself and gaining a new hobby. I have always loved history especially period stuff which was a huge inspiration for my film, being a re-enactor has opened a new door in my life and I love it. I have met so many amazing people already! Lets be honest it is pretty awesome to dress up and be someone else for a day and I am being combat trained which is pretty to cool to hit people weapons ( but not so awesome getting your ass whooped though haha). 

I still have my two geckos they are now 10 years old  ( Crazy!!)

 I also have two new additions to my family the first is a Western Hognose names Pretzel. She is a little cutie and the second is a Royal Python named Loki who definitely lives up to his name.

For people who follow me on social media probably already know but I am in a new relationship Im not going into much detail  about it at the moment I will probably address it in a new post but his name is Lewis and he will probably appear in some of my videos or even blog posts so thought I would mention it now incase people wondered who the random guy was.

That's about everything interesting in my life at the moment, I am currently writing my dissertation which is stressful but getting there. It's crazy to think three years has flown by and I have almost finished uni when it feels like just yesterday I started.  

With deadlines nearing the end I should hopefully be posting a lot more on here and on my channel.

Back Online....

Hello Everybody,

It's been such a long time since I've posted anything on here or even my YouTube Channel ( which is not neglected but dormant which I shall explain in a second). 

I have just finished my A-levels which has taken up most of my free time , where I have not been able to sit down and write a blog post or film, edit and upload a Youtube video. I have also been quite busy working and going to many rockabilly gigs and events which have been a small breather from the giant workload. However now I have finished and I have so much free time ( I literally don't know what to do with myself) I am going to start blogging on a regular basis with a new post every week ( or well try to). 

As most of you may know I have a Youtube channel ( Jesstheblonde13) which I have not used in ages... my last vlog video was over a year ago! I have been uploading small snippets like the Ice Bucket Challenge and a few short film I have made during my A-levels to keep the channel alive... or rather dormant! During my free time I have been watching a lot of Youtube videos mainly Carrie Hope Fletcher, Zoella and Cherrydollface which has really motivated me to bring back the channel and as Uni is approaching I really want to start it up again as a hobby to have while I am away, so my family, friends and you guys can join me along the way!

With the small Splurge over I would like to announce that my channel is having a small revamp (including Vlogs, Challenges, Beauty bits and more) and it will be up and active again with a channel update will be filmed within the next week... so keep your eyes peeled for that. My boyfriend Jake has also kick started his gaming and vlog channel (NymphoJake- which I will be occasionally featuring in - Vlogs, Challenges and more).

Be Inspired....

With life, comes many chances, choices and responsibilities, but during that time we are expected to do so much! Go to school, university, get a job , get marries, have children etc! But during this time we never really get the chance to just sit down and think what we want out of life! Then we find ourselves struggling to find the inspiration and motivation to do new and exciting things and create our own paths. 

For me inspiration comes from a number of things like finding new hobbies, meeting new people and even the internet! It can be the most random and little things but these are often the most important and they keep us going!

My current 2015 motivations are: 

- Lose weight and get fit

-  Stay focused

- Get into uni 

- Take more chances 

- Go to more gigs

- Explore the Unknown

- Stay positive and enjoy life

For me Inspiration is seen through some of my female idols which all have a special feature which inspires me to do new things and feel confident and happier about myself. 

Marilyn Monroe - you don't have to be skinny or perfect to be beautiful. She was a huge icon in the 1950s and loved for who she was curves and all. She was never seen as what we now call a skinny girl but men still adored her for who she was- Curves and all. As I am a curvy girl this really inspires me and gain body confidence. 

Carrie Hope Fletcher- Always stay positive and make the most out of life.  In all of her blog posts and videos, Carrie is always smiling, positive and joyful. She taught me that staying positive gives you a better view and experience of life which makes you motivated to take more chances.

Lana Parrilla- Take Chances. As an actor she first began by  taking on very small roles, until she was appraoched by a producer to audition for a part, she leaped at the chance and got the role as the Evil Queen/Regina in the hit show Once Upon a Time. This inspired me to take more chances in life as you never know, you may be rewarded. 

CherryDollface - Just keep going and never let anything get in your way. Cherry ( Also known as Cherokee) is a well known- Pin up model and youtuber known for her hair and style tutorials. But for me Cherry is a huge inspiration. She has a heart condition which lead to operations where she flat lined for 20 seconds. However she doesn't let this get in the way of her life and she carries on staying positive, taking chances and living life to the full. This really inspires me as it shows that if you don't let anything get in your way you can accomplish almost anything!

I see inspiration and motivation important aspects of our lives as without them we would be cooped up inside and unable to see the interesting and exciting things the world has to offer!

A Small Update....

Hello Everybody, It's been an awfully long time since my last post...too long in fact! So I thought I would make a quick update post, before I start begin posting again! The reason for my lack of posts comes down to many reasons: 

- School has taken up a huge part of my spare time and I have been so so so busy doing coursework, filming, essays, rehearsals and drama performances - all of which had to meet different deadlines... ahhhh!

- Linking to school I have also been going to many university open days and sorting out my UCAS, finance etc ready for when I go to university (I now have 3 offers and an Interview next week... yay!) 

-  I have also been taking up overtime at work and working almost everyday for most weeks as well as juggling the above!

- Finally one of the more annoying reason is I have been quite ill recently with different things, from the stress of the above things and loads of illnesses have been going around ( total nightmare!) 

So now those things are dying down I have more free time on my hands and I will be posting more on here! I have a few posts lines up so they will be making an appearance very soon! These will include:

- Hairstyle tutorials/ posts

- Reviews

- Make-up tutorials/ posts

and more!

One small update is I got my first tattoo.. ekkk! It's a lucky 13 tattoo on the back of my neck and I love it to bits! The whole process was so interesting and I was really looked after by everyone in the studio! (Yes it is the first of many more to come!).

Another small update is today I dyed my hair lilac! ...A small change from my normal white/silver ( which will return). This is also a Slight disclaimer as some of the new posts I will be using older photos (of my old colour) ... just pointing that out if there is any confusing or a combination of old and new images!

My Christmas Playlist

Hello Everybody! Its finally December which means... It's nearly Christmas! I'm literally so excited.. I cannot wait. I have already finished my shopping and wrapped all the presents ( yay!).

My Everyday Make Up

 Hello everybody!

I thought I would do a little post about the make up I am currently wearing on a daily basis whilst also making it into a kind of mini-tutorial. I always get into a little routine when it comes to my everyday look and once I've found a product I usually keep it until it runs out and I have to find an alternative or I get bored with it. I will often experiment and switch up colours on my cheeks, lips and eyes.  I usually go for a dark or bright lip colour but recently I've been using more dull shades which gives a more natural and fresh look!

Company Lashes ( Company Magazine free sample) - Applied to top lashes for more effect.
