My favourite TV Shows/Series

Being a Yotuber I don't really watch much TV any more (which is quite sad really). But I still manage to catch up on all my favourite TV shows online; as well as get into some new ones. So I though I would share them with you (from my oldest favourites - my more recent (excluding my childhood ones there will be another post just for them).

As you can see I am a bit late when it comes to some of them ( I do apologise) but I still love them as much as you older fandom members. For example I only recently watched all of Sherlock and I was SO excited when I saw the promo after the Dr Who 50th... ahh cannot wait!!

What are you favourite TV shows? Are there any more you think I should watch?
feel free to leave any comments!

Review: Lush- Space Girl Ball Ballistic

Every time I go into Lush I am always keen on trying new things as well as picking up my favs! As I was speaking to a shop assistant she recommended the "space girl" ball ballistic. When I first saw it I thought that it was just another Lavender sent and it didn't really appeal to me. But when I smelt it.. oh my gosh it was amazing! It smelt just like the sweets "parma violets" (which was mainly the reason I brought it).

I used this last night and loved it! The lilac and red glitter turned the water a nice shade of purple and left my skin feeling so soft! It fizzed for ages creating a lot of bubbles and the smell never went away; it left my skin smelling sooo goood! I will defiantly be going to buy more in the future and if I ever see that shop assistant again I shall be thanking her greatly!

The only down downside I had to this product was the appearance I personally this that it could be improved by making it look more pretty. I find that the prettier the appearance the more appealing the product is; making me want to check it out.

I defiantly recommend this product to try. If you are a sweet lover like me then you will really enjoy it's sent!

Have you tried this before? what did you think?
are there any more products you want me to try/ review?

A Mini Autumn Haul

This week end my parents and I went into town for a spot of shopping... Our main aim was to find me some ankle boots as my old ones broke :'(.. Turns out I got a lot more than that....

First stop my favourite place.. Primark!

The first thing I picked up was this blouse in the sale for £5.00. I think that this would look lovely with a pair of leggings or disco pants as the back of the blouse is longer than the front; giving it a nice flowing effect. I also think that the leather collar would look nice poking out the top of a jumper in the winter.

As the weather is getting more cold, rainy and miserable I like being nice and cosy  at night with a cup of coffee or hot choc so I picked up some cosy PJ bottoms for £5.00 (featured in my toilet tag video). They are soo soft and warm! I just can't wait to wear them.

I also picked up a Long sleeved PJ top (£5.00) as most of mine are either T.shirts or strap tops. I shall be going back to get some more as this is so cosy.

I then went up to the accessory section where I picked up this beanie for £2.00.  It is a nice light pink colour with a darker/coral pink going through.  I will be going to purchase some more as Primark have some really nice ones in and I love wearing beanies in the autumn winter as I feel nice and cosy on my travels as well as having an excuse to hide my hair on a bad hair day.

I then picked up this tartan scarf for £1.50. I felt like the colours really expressed the autumn season and I've always loved a bit of tartan. I noticed that it is wired which for easy styling (mainly the reason a brought it). I have never owned or worn a wired headband/ scarf before so I tried it as soon as I got home and I loved it!

After loving my last Primark lipstick I went back to buy another. This time I picked up a dark pink as dark lips look really nice in the autumn season, I noticed that it smells exactly the same as the once I brought before ( lovely sweet strawberry). They are only £1.00.. can't argue with that.

Next stop was New Look where I picked up two pairs of ankle boots ( £19.99 each). This was my main aim of the trip as my old pair (featured in my last post OOTD) became old and tatty with a massive hole in the front! :( I was undecided about which colour to get as I just loved the brown colour but at the same time I found the black more practical and would go with a lot more. I decided on the brown pair but then my mother snuck back, grabbed the black and decided to buy me both when I was having a browse at the sale... Thanks Mum!

I then quickly nipped into Superdrug to look at the sleek counter as I have heard so much about this brand but haven't actually tried any myself. Whilst browsing at the blushers I found this nice orange toned one called "life's a peach" 922. As I don't own any peachy blushers and orange is one of my favourite colours I just had to pick it up. It was only  £4.49 so it didn't break the bank too much.

Final stop of the day was Lush ( gotta love a bit of lush) where I picked up two more of their festive ball ballistics.
The first of these is the "Bombardino" (left) this smells just like a lemon cheesecake ( yum). I was going to buy this last time I was in lush but I decided to get a golden wonder instead so I just had to pick one up this time!
The next thing I picked up was a "snowman"(right) he smells just like butterball; vanilla and fresh. This just puts me in the Christmas mood and its only November.. *sigh* He is quite cute and smells so fresh.
(I've included the website images so you can see them in all their beauty as mine are a bit deformed).

If you want reviews on any of these then please leave a comment!

Have you got any of these? What did you think? Are there any other products you would recommend?

October Favourites

So I guess this is my first monthly favourites... I have been loving quite a few beauty products and also some non- beauty things that I simply keep going back to no matter what.. seriously I'm hooked!

Beauty/ Fashion

First off on my list is Lipsticks. Now being in the Autumn/winter months I have started wearing more dark and red lipsticks; my favourites being Rimmel Kate Moss in 107(left) and 101(right). I tend to wear 107 a lot more as it is a more as I find that it is more matte and subtle than the 101 but I still love them both equally.

This month I have really been loving Lush I have constantly been going in there is month and I am building up quite a selection of products. (seriously I have to find a basket to fit them all in as they live in a bag.).... I think I'm becoming addicted! All their products just simply feel and smell great as well as look beautiful and making your baths so pretty. I know that I will definitely be going back for more.

I never used to use concealer in the past but this month I decided to try Collection lasting perfection concealer and I loved it! I have really noticed a difference in my skin and appearance. It has a matte finish and is very subtle.. perfect for all seasons (especially autumn/winter).

When I went to visit my nan and Grandad up in Yorkshire they gave me Ghost sweetheart as a gift and it smells amazing! Like a sweet, flowery sent that I just keep going back to... good thing it's in a large bottle.

The final beauty/ fashion based favourite are head scarves and headbands. As some of you can tell by YouTube videos I love flower crowns and headbands and tend to wear them in my videos *cough* when I remember.. oops. But as of this month I have been including them a lot more in my day to day life; they go with a lot more things and look great.

Non-Beauty

The first of my non-beauty based favourites is Orphan BlackA hit TV series from America which aired on BBC3 from 20th September-1st November 2013. It's about an Orphan named Sarah whos life is turned upside down after witnessing the suicide of a girl who looks a spitting image of her; later finding out that she is one of many look-a-likes who turn out to be clones.
The series included many plot twists and surprising events and conspiracies that kept me on the edge of my seat! By two episodes I was completely hooked. Although it has ended now (cry cry cry) I think there are still places online to view it...I absolutely love it and cannot wait until season 2 in 2014 I defiantly recommend it as  It's must watch!!
(At the top is the UK "when did I become us?" promo trailer, to the left is a promo poster showing all the characters (Sarah in colour) and below is the orginal US trailer...enjoy).

Whilst on the subject of TV shows, this month I have also been loving Atlantis. As Merlin ended last year (crys) Atlantis has become it's replacement...and I love it! It follows a guy names Jason who is sent back in time to the mythical city of Atlantis; following his adventures with Pythagoras and Hercules as well as meeting some iconic Mythical characters. It's on every Saturday around 8pm (UK time) on BBC1. Although it has already started you can catch up on the BBC Iplayer. If you liked Merlin you are going to love this!!

The final non-beauty based favourite is the salted caramel hot chocolate from Starbucks. I first heard about this when I got a Pumpkin spice latte (yum) I then began to hear more and more about it from a lot of other people including Zoella. The following week I gave in and got one for myself... It was amazing! The sweet chocolatey taste and the salt compliment each other so well and it kinda tastes similar to the toffee nut latte they bring out at Christmas time...yum! These are apparently out until January time (when the red cups go) so if you're in town or near a Starbucks go and get yourself one... I highly recommend it!

What things have you loved this month? Have you used, watched or had any of these? What do you think?

Jess ❤
